Ultra-SC Air Brake Lock
Pownall were the first company to produce an automatic "fail-safe" air brake lock. This lock received the 1994 TIPCON TROPHY in recognition of its contribution to commercial vehicle security, awarded by the Road Haulage Association.
The Pownall Ultra Automatic Air Brake Lock has been adopted by leading truck manufacturers and is specified by many 'blue chip' companies. (UK Patent No. GB2294744)
Trailer Safety Park Valve
An award was presented to Pownall at the 1997 'SAFETY & HEALTH PRODUCT INNOVATION AWARDS' in recognition of the Pownall Automatic Trailer Park Brake Valve's contribution to safety within the industry.
