Today's stringent safety regulations often require specialist commercial vehicles to be fitted with interlocks to prevent the vehicle being started or moved while equipment is in use or not stowed, or because the vehicle is on an incline. In addition, it should not be possible to use or operate equipment in potential hazardous conditions.
