Body Raised Interlock - Prevents accidents without interfering with normal operation of vehicle

Developed originally to prevent damage to overhead objects in quarries and on other industrial sites, this product also helps prevent flip-over of articulated dumpers that are designed to allow the load section to swivel on rough ground, these vehicles are prone to tip over if driven with the body raised  

Besides possible driver injuries, a body raised collision can have major financial consequences other than collision damage to:- Power lines, bridges, gantries, conveyors, etc. Production may be reduced or completely stopped.

The system allows the driver to pull forward spreading the load during tipping operations, but prevents them accidentally driving off with the body raised. A small dash mounted control station indicates the system status.

The system is designed in such a way that the brakes gradually apply should the body be raised whilst the vehicle is in motion. The system is designed for use on vehicles with air/spring brakes.
